If you’re an OS X user, backing up through the terminal may be the easiest way to go. You can force the backup in the background, so you can keep on working as usual.

I don’t use as many folders as I used to, but man, I would’ve loved this tip a few years ago. Ditch your binders and get some Chicago screws to free up 60% of your space. Apart from being a cool idea, it looks really great too, simple and beautiful.

Lifehack is giving away some db clay wallets, which are apparently a piece of art in your pocket. I wouldn’t go that far, but they do look quite cool, I’de love to have one, the orange-brown one would be nice. If you want to win one, just visit the post and leave a comment with a tagline you would suggest for Lifehack.org. They aren’t judging them, so don’t be shy.

If you like the idea of helping the environment along a bit, but you’re not up to a commitment like buying a hybrid just yet, you can still do a lot to make your car greener. For example. it’s mentioned that you should go the speed limit because it saves you gasoline. What’s not mentioned though, that where I live there is a big freeway leading into the city. About 8 miles before the city there is a 60 mile speed limit. I always thought that this was for safety reasons, although I couldn1t imagine why, but the real reason is that at 60miles your car emits much less carbon monoxide as it does when you’re at 80 for example. So it’s actually there for environmental reasons.
