Who doesn’t use Post its? I mean I’m not a frequent user, but whenever I need to scribble something down quickly, or leave a quick note on the fridge, I’d be lost without them. No one in my household is big on them, and we still have about 3 boxes of flags, 4 big post it packs and a few small yellow and green ones lying around. Imagine what the post it geek has at home? Since I do love this awesome invention, let me show you some of the cooler ways to store and use them.
Clear Top Dispenser
Let me show you one of my favorites for the desktop, this stylish Clear Top Dispenser
. I really like the contrast of the black base with the slight curve of the clear top, holding the underlying post it pack firmly in place. If you have a modern desk this will definitely suit it, but perhaps it will go well with a huge oak desk too. It holds 3×3 notes, but I couldn’t really tell if notes are initially supplied. I found one here at home at Office Depot without one, but who knows how Amazon ships it. There’s a 4 x 4 version
available as well, so if that’s more like your cup of tea, check it out!
Desktop Note and Flag Dispenser
The Desktop Note and Flag Dispenser
is the bigger brother of the above dispenser. It facilitates a 3 x 3 block note pad and two flags for bookmarking. It looks just as cool as the other one, but has more room, so I would definitely go for this one if you have the desktop space (and you use flags). If your desktop is lacking in free space, you may be better off with just the note holder, since flags usually come in their own plastic holders anyway. Nevertheless, this is a stylish and useful adition to any desk.
Assorted On The Go Notes
My next edition look great and can be used well, but has some deficiencies though. The Assorted On The Go Notes
are great because you can easily put them in any ring binder. I also find the colors quite cool, and the varying sizes are chosen well. The problem with this one is that it is not an official 3M product, so probably there are no refills available. There are also only 25 of each, which one one hand is not too much, on the other hand if you put more it will take up too much space in the binder. I think some people will love this, others will have absolutely no use for it.
3M Portable Notes
The 3m Portable Notes
is the 3M version of the assorted notes. It offers only a one size note, but five colors of flags, 20 of each. You can use it in binders easily, but it will probably fit in your pocket too if needed. If you use flags a lot this is a much better option, 100 flags should be enough until you can buy a new one right?
Zip Sticky Note Dispenser
I wanted to leave the best for last, I’m ordering this right now! The Zip Dispenser
is great because it holds a roll of sticky notes, instead of a block. Just tear off the exact length you need. No longer are you tied to fixed size notes, you will have total freedom! Wow, I would be a good freedom fighter! It’s battery operated, so that’s some extra coolness for you, and there are also Refill Rolls
available right here for $4 a pop.
