Xobni – The productivity addon for Outlook

Xobni IconRarely do I see an Outlook addon that’s worth any attention and is also free. This is not so with the awesome Xobni (Inbox backwards by the way), which makes Outlook a bit more fun to use, but also lends a hand to organization and productivity.

The application is based on a complex (and very useful) analytics system which analyzes your email and creates summaries in a sidebar for you, but also whole reports in separate windows if you wish. Among it’s features is the ability to take a look at email activity times (when your contacts send you emails), people connected to any contact, files exchanged, flag complete times, email response times and so on. For an in-depth look at the inner workings of Xobni, venture on!

(I want to extend my special thanks to Geoff, who possibly has one of the best titled blogs on the net. He was kind enough to send me an invitation to Xobni, so I wouldn’t die of anticipation, thanks a lot Geoff!)

Xobni – The Outlook inbox manager

Xobni statsXobni is an awesome new Outlook addon that I desperately want to try. Take a look at the video from Lifehacker and I think you’ll be just as excited. The essence of it is an analytics engine which not only brings you great statistics, but helps you navigate through Outlook much faster. I just love the activity bar, which shows you what time of day a contact sends you emails. This can help you productively send people emails when you know they’re going to get them right away.

It has tons of other features helping you in organization as well and I really want to show them to you, but it’s a closed beta. If I refer two people though I can get in faster, so could I ask you guys to help me? Just click on this badge and sign up for a beta test and I can bring you the info faster. Thank you all in advance.
